Hello Taylor, and welcome to planDisney! We're so pleased that you've dropped by with such an important question for us to help you with today.
When all my 4 children were younger, and we vacationed together as a family of 6 Mouseketeers in total, every single penny counted towards our trips to Walt Disney World Resort so that we could make it affordable. Therefore, with this in mind, I can totally relate to trying to save money wherever possible when staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Taylor, here just for you are some of my top personal tips for budgeting when at Walt Disney World Resort -
- When planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, keep a keen Ear on the
Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts webpage.
- Organise a
grocery delivery of bottled water, breakfast items, and snacks to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Bell Services at your Resort will gladly receive a delivery, and for a small fee, will even deliver it directly to your room! Or you can collect items in person - for free!
- Plan to use refillable water bottles whilst in the Disney Theme Parks. Water bottles can be refilled at the complimentary water refilling stations that are dotted around the Parks.
- Guests can request free cups of iced water at almost any Disney Counter or Quick-Service dining location. Simply ask the nearest Cast Member to assist you.
- Opt to
dine at Counter-Service dining locations instead of the more costly Table-Service restaurants.
- Make a daily snack and souvenir budget, and stick to it!
- Aim to share larger-sized snacks such as the
Mickey Colossal Cinnamon Roll found at
Creature Comforts at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
- If you have little Mouseketeers in your family, plan to pack small inexpensive Disney souvenirs brought from home and leave them in your room each day,
with love from Mickey!
I truly hope that I've been able to provide a few budgeting ideas for you today Taylor. If you should have any further questions for me regarding planning towards what's sure to be a practically perfect in every way vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Then please do pop back to
planDisney any time.
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
