We are trying to plan a trip to Disney. We are looking at staying at the port Orleans riverside resort. We will have 5 adults and 1 child age 2. Is the pull out bed in the rooms big enough for an adult to sleep on?

    Hi Brooke,

How awesome to know you are planning for a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort for next January. I am pretty sure you will discover right away how the Magic is Endless.

A long time ago... my family took my cousin on her first Disney trip, and we stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. It was my two teenage boys, and us three adults, so my cousin slept in the Pull Down Bed. It is a small bed, but she was very comfortable. I would say it is fine for a petite adult, as it measures approx.. 30" by 63".

Although rates for 2018 are not available yet, keep an eye to the Disney Parks Blog for announcements. Later in the summer, Mickey may surprise us with Special Offers, and you may be able to upgrade to a deluxe resort, which typically have a bigger sofa bed.

One last tip: remember to book your dining reservations 180 days in advance of your Check-In. Simply download the My Disney Experience mobile app, to make this process quick and easy. Happy planning!
