Hey there, Alvin!
Thanks for stopping in with your question here at planDisney! As enthusiastic Disney vacationers ourselves, we genuinely enjoy planning pretty much everything and anything related to a Disney destination stay. We're always happy to share our personal trip and travel experiences in hopes of helping Guests like you plan your own vacation magic.
One great place to begin planning your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is to reach out to the Walt Disney Travel Company by calling (407) 939-5277. The good news I'm happy to share is that you can do a lot of planning yourself using the simple and convenient planning tools available on the Walt Disney World Resort website.
I always recommend starting by using the
"Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today" feature. It's a super-easy planning tool that prompts to you select a Resort accommodation and theme park admission, as well as other options, to build a vacation offer. What's really helpful is that you can save and compare different vacation offers. Want to compare three-day, four-day, and five day vacation offers? You can do that!
Simply start by entering your desired check-in date, check-out date, and the number of adults and children (and their ages) in your vacation party. You'll quickly see a wide range of choices for your Walt Disney World Resort hotel accommodation options. My suggestion is that you'll next want to filter your choices by Resort Location or Resort Category. For example, if you prefer to stay at Resort hotels where you can stroll straight to a theme park, you'll want to filter Resort Location for Magic Kingdom Area Resorts or EPCOT Area Resorts. If you prefer to stay at Resort hotels based on their rates, you'll want to filter Resort Category for Deluxe, Moderate, or Value Resorts. You'll see you have lots of choices, and you can look at the Resort overview and room photos to help you decide which Resort is a just-right fit for your vacation style.
After you select your Resort accommodations, you'll want to look at package offers that include both room and
theme park tickets. You'll want to select the number of days for which you want tickets, and then add on any options you desire. For example, I am personally a big fan of the
Park Hopper Option because it gives you theme park admission for more than one theme park per day.
When you're done building your vacation offer, you'll have an idea of vacation pricing, and you can then build and compare other offers if you'd like.
As you're building your vacation plans, you might have some additional questions. Maybe you're wondering "What's it like to stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort?" or "How many days should we visit the theme parks?" or "Where can we enjoy the best meals based on our tastes?" or "What are must-do attractions?" These are all great questions to ask us here at planDisney and we can make helpful suggestions from our own experiences.
Another tip I'll share is to check out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts. You might see an offer for a discounted vacation package that could work well for your plans.
Alvin, I hope this information helps you get started with planning your summer vacation. And remember, the Walt Disney Travel Company is just a phone call away at (407) 939-5277 and they can help provide guidance on booking your vacation.
Here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Jerry
