Hello, Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I have been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for many years now. I just love all of the perks and discounts that are offered with the program.
Since the
reopening of Walt Disney World last summer, there have been a few temporary changes to the Annual Pass program. One of those changes is having to make
park pass reservations to visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Currently, without a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay the number of park pass reservations you can hold at one time is 3. So at this time, you would be able to make park pass reservations for your trip in July and then one day of your August trip. Once you use your first park pass reservation on July 10th, you are able to log in to your MyDisneyExperience account and make another one for a different day. I do this quite often as we visit the Walt Disney World Theme Parks a lot. As soon as I scan into a theme park I open up the app and make a selection for another. Sometimes this can be inconvenient because park pass reservations do tend to fill up but I've had good luck securing more each day of a trip that I am on. However, we have to remember that it is only temporary and I do believe things will be returning to normal very soon. If you'd like to hold more than 3 park pass reservations at a time, you can do that by booking a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Then, you'll be able to still hold your 3 park pass reservations under the Annual Pass category but you will also be able to make them for your length of stay at the resort. This might be a way for you to book your trip in August. Walt Disney World Annual Passholders oftentimes receive
discounts on select resort stays. There is a current special out right now for Passholders where you can save up to 25% off of rooms this summer. The promotion is good for trips running from July 11th - September 29th. You can see this offer when booking a hotel room using the Walt Disney World website and being logged in to your MyDisneyExperience account.
Jennifer, I hope this helps you plan out your vacations a little bit better. If you have any other questions before your trips, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun!
