Trying to plan a summer 2021 (jun or Jul) family vacation for 8:adults and 10 children (age range 13yrs - 4 months).

    Hiya, Richard!

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re bringing your whole crew to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I think sharing Walt Disney World Resort with large families is the BEST way to experience the magic! I am so thrilled for you and your loved ones!

I’m actually taking a family vacation next year too! With 9 adults and 6 children, we definitely needed some room to spread out! We love staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in the Finding Nemo Family Suites! And with a quick call to Guest Services, we were able to get our rooms close together! There are so many options when it comes to Resort Hotels at Walt Disney World! Check out the incredible video “Resort Tips for Traveling with a Large Family” by my planDisney pal, Wes! He gives some great tips when it comes to planning your stay!

It’s also a great idea to get a rough plan of what each day will look like for your family! You may want to make Dining Reservations for your party, and have a general idea of what your family would like to do and see at each of the theme parks to make your vacation run smoothly. There’s another great video for you to watch by a few more of my planDisney friends called “Tips for Traveling as a Big Family”. This video may give you some more ideas on what to plan for while traveling as a large group!

No matter what, just remember that it’s going to be a magical adventure, Richard! If you have questions about anything regarding planning/traveling as a big family, we would be so happy to hear from you again!

Meet the Panelist: Allyn, Florida

Hello! I am Allyn, your personal planDisney companion! I’ve enjoyed most of my life in the heart of Wyoming but am currently living my fairy tale as a wife, mom, yoga instructor, and fine jewelry designer in central Florida! When I’m not galavanting around the Disney theme parks, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, outside playing with my family, or learning to do something new. I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
