Ahoy there, Cris! Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you for sailing by with your question.
Disney Cruise Line has a recommendation for the earliest departure for each departure port. For example, for sailings from Fort Lauderdale, it is recommended that the earliest departure time on debarkation day from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is 11:00 AM. Suggested flight departure times from airports in Europe and Vancouver are a little later. Delays in the ship being cleared by port authorities and delays in customs cannot be predicted unfortunately. If there are no delays, you may get off the ship between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM.
If you need to be among the first Guests off of the ship, I suggest that you use ExpressWalk-off. If you use this, you will not place your luggage outside your stateroom the night before debarkation. You keep all of your luggage with you until you are ready to leave your stateroom and debark. There will be an announcement that the ship has been cleared by port authorities, and Guests are welcome to disembark the ship. You will also need to account for the time it will take to travel from the port to the airport.
Cris, if you have specific questions about your departure port,
feel free to write back to me with that information. I will be happy to answer your questions. planDisney is here for you!
Adventure is out there!
