You have great taste in resort hotels! I have a stay at
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge coming up this summer, and my whole family is so excited to splash in the Copper Creek Springs pool, have a campfire cupcake from Roaring Fork, and soak in the ambiance of this gorgeous hotel. We’ve stayed at
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside multiple times, and were just discussing how much we love walking along the Sassagoula River. These resort hotels both have such natural beauty and relaxing vibes!
Currently, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is scheduled to re-open on June 6, 2021, although this date is subject to change. We don’t have a reopening date for Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts at this time. The
Resort Hotels Know Before You Go page is a great source of information about what is currently open and what is expected to open, and if you scroll down the page, you can see what dining, recreation, and other amenities are open at each resort hotel. I recommend keeping an eye on this page as well as the

October is a fantastic time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, William! This year,
The World’s Most Magical Celebration kicks off on October 1, 2021 – it’s a party celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort! Because your visit dates are during the first few weeks of the celebration, resort hotel availability may be limited, so I would recommend making a reservation soon. As long as there is availability, you can always change your resort hotel reservation to another hotel if something else opens up that you prefer as you get closer to your visit.
