I am trying to plan a 3 night stay at Disney with my husband and 22 month old daughter for the first week of March 2015. We want to stay at the most affordable toddler friendly hotel. What would be your option and why?

Hello Nicole.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  March is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World.  We have been several times in March, for my daughter's birthday, and the weather has always been great.

If you are looking at a budget friendly resort that your whole family will enjoy, I suggest looking into Disney's Pop Century Resort.  It is considered a Value Resort, which means price wise it is one of the least expensive resorts on Walt Disney World property.  My daughter, who is 6 now, has always enjoyed staying at Disney's Pop Century.  There are bright colors everywhere and always something to look at.  It is a very kid friendly resort and you will notice a lot of families with small children staying there.  The Everything Pop Food Court and Gift Shop is a great place to grab a bite to eat before hitting the parks in the morning.  The Food Court offers a variety of options, you will be able to find something you like.  It seems like there is always something going on in the lobby for children whether it be a few songs to dance to or even making their own parade through the food court area.  We have always enjoyed the Hippy Dippy Pool with the flower shaped water jets.  There isn't a water slide at any Value Resort but that has never bothered us.  There is also a kiddie pool behind the Hippy Dippy Pool that your little one might enjoy. Nightly, you can find a movie under the stars for you to enjoy in the main pool area.  One of the most convenient things about staying at Pop Century is the bus transportation to and from the resorts.  Unlike some of the other Value Resorts, Pop Century has it's own buses that will go directly to the park and back to the resort without making additional stops.  This is especially beneficial at the end of a long day when everyone is tired and worn out.

Give Pop Century a try, I think you'll like it.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
