Hiya, Daniel! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you’re planning a trip with several family members. As a fellow planner, I am always the holder of the plans for my family when we travel to
Walt Disney World Resort. It’s a big responsibility, but it’s an honorable endeavor, Daniel! Even though we may not always get the recognition we deserve, we can rest easy knowing that our party will have a great time due to our attention to detail!
I’m happy to help with your questions regarding booking and using
Lightning Lane selections at the parks. Your best bet when you are holding Lightning Lane selections for Guests who won’t be able to use them is to modify your Lightning Lane and remove the Guests who won’t be riding. You will be able to do this directly on the
My Disney Experience app once you’ve made your purchase and started booking Lightning Lanes.
On the day of your visit, if you ride that attraction and try to book it again later for everyone in your party, only those who have not experienced the attraction will be eligible to book the Lightning Lane. If you or any other Guests in your party have already redeemed a Lightning Lane for that attraction, the app will show that you are not eligible to select it a second time. With that said, you can book that attraction on behalf of your parents, or they can book it themselves, if they wish to experience that attraction via Lightning Lane.
You’re visiting at a great time, Daniel! The
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be underway. It features some phenomenal eats and sips at the Global Marketplaces across the park.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will also be taking place on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park. It’s a frightfully fun time!
I hope this clears things up, Daniel! If you have any questions regarding Lightning Lane Multi Pass, or any other questions regarding your upcoming visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see
me here at planDisney. I’m happy to help answer any other questions you may have!
See you real soon!
