Hi! Trying to plan a little date night with my DH. Thinking downtown disney, but not opposed to other resorts (staying @ CBR). Any suggestions on places to go get a drink or appertizer, or things to see while our DS is having his "nana night" lol

My husband and I are huge fans of Disney date nights, Laura.  We do at least one during every trip, though I have to tell you that we've never chosen Downtown Disney as our destination for romantic fun.  That said, we did have the chance to grab a bite to eat at House of Blues one time and it was yummy.  Perhaps you will find that spot to be the perfect fit for your Downtown Disney date.  You could always take in the Cirque du Soleil show after.

Some other ideas for date night:
    • Hop on the monorail and get off in each of the three resorts to enjoy an appetizer or a cocktail and explore the property.
    • Head over to Epcot to grab a glass of bubbly and watch IllumiNations.
    • Rent a surrey bike at the Boardwalk Inn and then stop in at Jellyrolls for some after dark fun.
Whichever you choose, enjoy your special time with your husband at Disney!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
