We are trying to plan a LARGE family vacation to Disney with ages from 4 -11. Where is the best place to stay to accomodate?

Pack up your crowd and head to the magic! Everyone loves Mickey ice cream, flying elephants, and princesses so each member of your family will enjoy a trip to Walt Disney World.

Villas with two or three bedrooms are the best choice for large families. On our last visit my family of six stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas-Kidani Village. Our spacious accommodations had two bedrooms, a living area with a sofa bed, a washer and dryer, three bathrooms (much easier mornings), and a view of giraffes. The kitchen allowed us to keep a stock of cold drinks and make a quick breakfast or an easy sandwich lunch. A must for school age children visiting Disney is an amazing pool which you will find at the villa resorts.

A more economical option is the family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's All-Star Music Resort. These suites handle six easily, have two bathrooms, a mini kitchen, and a fun, whimsical atmosphere. Art of Animation is shiny new, boldly themed, and boasts the fabulous Big Blue Pool.

More questions about bringing your brood to visit Mickey? Please contact me. My family of six probably does not stack up as large against yours, but I do have plenty of experience visiting the parks with a bigger than average family. I would love to help you plan a magical vacation.
