Hi there! Trying to plan a holiday trip. We've only ever visited Disney in the spring or summer. Thinking either the week leading up to and including Thanksgiving OR the week following Thanksgiving. Which week will be the least crowded?

    Hi there, Jaime!

I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a vacation to Walt Disney World in November, especially since you've only ever previously visited during the Spring and Summer months. Florida "winters" are my very favorite because the weather is nice and mild, and there is no humidity! The best part about it for me is that we've always been able to enjoy the pool during that time of the year as well because it's still warm enough for that!

The week of Thanksgiving is a VERY busy time at Walt Disney World. In fact, if you look at the crowd calendar that you can find on TouringPlans.com, you'll see that the week of Thanksgiving is one of the busiest weeks of the entire year. Since it sounds like you have the option, I would definitely choose the week after Thanksgiving because the crowds will likely be much less mellow after the holiday.

I sure hope this helps, Jaime! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you continue your planning.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
