We are trying to plan a high school senior trip to Disney World. Is there a contact or tour company that can help us arrange the air, hotel, transportation and tickets for this trip? Thanks

    Hello there, Andrea!

I wish someone planned a Walt Disney World Resort high school senior trip for me when I was in school. What a great way to celebrate the last year of high school.

I imagine that this will be a very large group (10 Rooms or More), so you’ll want to call a Cast Member at Group Reservations to help you get started. They’ll be able to tell you what options are available for large groups at this time for theme park tickets and Resort hotels. In addition, you may want to search the internet for a travel agent who specializes in booking Walt Disney World Resort vacations for large parties.

Some of the things that you’ll want to think about in advance include:

    1. How many students and adult chaperones will be in your group?
    2. What is your group's travel budget (e.g., will you want to stay at a Deluxe Resort hotel or a Value Resort Hotel)?
    3. Will your group want to stay together the whole time or have free time on their own?
    4. Will your entire group want to take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan that may be added to a Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a Disney Resort hotel?

I highly recommend making a few advanced dining reservations for your large group 60 days in advance of your trip. I think you’ll have the best luck making these reservations over the phone via Dining Reservations at 7:00 a.m. EST. Andrea, I just recently ate at Boma - Flavors of Africa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I think this would be a perfect place to eat with a large group. This all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet restaurant offers breakfast and dinner and is themed to look like an African marketplace. The Cinnamon-Raisin Bread Pudding was the star of the show.

May the magic be with you!
