I am trying to plan a girls weekend for my teenage daughter and I to Walt Disney World. I would like to do one full day at the Magical Kingdom and stay 2 nights in a hotel. I don't want to spend $1000 though. Help!

    Hi Tami,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. You should stay at the cheapest hotel at Walt Disney World Resort. I recommend Disney´s All Star Music Resort, they have a great food court and for a value one, is very quiet and clean hotel. By staying in one of Disney's resort your are going to have some privileges like complementary transportation and you will save also by not paying for park your car too. If you can bring with you some snacks, bottle of waters, fruits and things for preparing sandwiches would be a great way to save on food that is so expensive in the parks. If you plan on eating in the parks, quick services restaurants are less expensive and their portions are huge, probably you two can share the meal. Many websites provide great discounts on travel packages and you should navigate and read great articles about saving at WDW at Mouse Hints,  Simple Dollar, Touring Plans or at Pinterest. Another way to save is spend the day at Disney Springs or a evening at Disney's Boardwalk inn, both don't require admission and  they have many stores, restaurants and beautiful locations to see. Don´t hesitate to come back with more questions.

    Have a magical vacation!
