Hi! Trying to plan a fun surprise for my boys on a Down pool day. Is pirate and pals refundable? We’re debating park day (if too cold to swim) or pirate and pals!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Hillary! The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is an amazing, yo-ho time on the Seven Seas Lagoon. Your boys are sure to love every moment!

When you make a reservation for the tour, you’ll need to do so as soon as you can (up to 90 days prior to your visit). It’s a popular adventure. Same day bookings, if available, are allowed up to one hour prior to sailing, so you can always call (407) 939-3463 the morning of your chosen sail date to see if there are slots. If you book in advance, you’ll need to cancel TWO DAYS ahead of your reservation. You can always check the weather a few days ahead of your adventure date to see what percentage of rain and temperatures you are looking at. On a rare occasion, fireworks may be rescheduled or cancelled without prior notice due to inclement weather, but Captain Hook does indeed operate the ship in rain and cold conditions. Bring an umbrella, poncho or blankets if you think you will need them! I loved riding the small dinghies back and forth to Disney’s Polynesian Village and Resort because I had a poncho in the light rain, but it was cool and comfortable!

If I can help you to successfully dock your trip and avoid walking the plank, please let me know. Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me!
