I am trying to plan a fun 10 day vacation for my 2 year old. Planning 2 to 3 days in Disney. but not sure where I begin. 1 resort does each one offer different things? 2 parks how would I know which is better for her? 3. Price is lodging better offsite? Ty

Hi there, Mason. It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you to planDisney. As a Gigi to a two-year-old granddaughter, this question makes my heart oh-so-happy! So, it's all Mickey hands on deck for this question. I'm putting on my planDisney ears and grandma ears to help you plan a magical vacation for your sweet girl. Our little ones grow up so fast, and as much as we wish we could slow down time, we can't make Cogsworth stop ticking away. So, let's create some enchanting magic!

Staying at a Disney Resort hotel is always a great idea, especially with benefits like Early Theme Park Entry. Each Resort hotel offers its own unique magic in terms of theming, dining options, and location. From my experience, I know that my granddaughter enjoys hotels with fun pools and Disney-themed decor. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort all feature pools that kids will love. Additionally, Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club recently reopened Stormalong Bay, which features a sandy beach, water slides, and a lazy river. If theming is what you're looking for, consider Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I also encourage you to check out the planDisney Pocket Guides. They provide a comprehensive overview of many of the Resort hotels, detailing what each has to offer, and will help you find what your daughter would enjoy the most.

When it comes to choosing which parks to visit, Magic Kingdom is a must! Taking that iconic picture in front of Cinderella Castle is a memory you'll want to frame forever. You'll enjoy family-friendly rides, parades, and fireworks where Tinker Bell flies through the air. My granddaughter loves EPCOT. With attractions like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Turtle Talk with Crush, EPCOT is entertaining for all ages, not just adults. Plus, there are so many character meet-and-greets! Hollywood Studios features Toy Story Land, while Animal Kingdom is a great choice if your little one loves furry friends.

While I don't have specifics on the benefits or pricing of off-site hotels, I can share that, from experience, we always choose to stay within the "Disney bubble." There is a wide range of pricing for accommodations available. I enjoy staying in Deluxe Resorts, but I also appreciate Value Resort hotels like Pop Century, especially for their convenient access to the Disney Skyliner. I've included a link to the Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page, where I hope you'll find an offer that suits your needs.

Mason, I've provided you with enough information to fill Belle's library, but I hope I've answered all your questions and given you a great place to start your planning. Please feel free to be our Guest here at planDisney anytime as you plan your trip. We are THRILLED to help, so ask away!

I'm wishing you a tale as old as time and a lifetime of magical memories!
