Hi Mike!
Congratulations on planning your very first trip to
Walt Disney World Resort; you are going to have a magical time! I have lots of experience leaving and reentering the theme parks, so I'm happy to help answer this great question. My family's general game plan is to visit our theme park of choice early in the morning, head back to our Resort hotel for an afternoon break and then reenter the theme park for some evening fun. I'm happy to tell you that you will not experience any problems doing this, regardless of whether you are staying on-property or off-property.
The
purchase of a theme park admission ticket allows you to enter a theme park, leave and reenter that same theme park with no additional charge. If you select the Park Hopper Option, you will be able to leave and reenter any of the four theme parks, as many times as you wish. For example, with a theme park admission ticket, you can head to
Magic Kingdom Park in the morning, leave for an afternoon break and reenter Magic Kingdom Park later that day with no problem. If you would like to visit Magic Kingdom Park in the morning and visit, say,
Disney's Hollywood Studios later in the day, you would need to have the Park Hopper Option. You can decide which ticketing option works best for your family.
I hope this helps with your planning, Mike. Please stop back and see us again real soon if you have any other questions regarding your first visit to the most Magical Place on Earth!
Wishing you magical memories to last a lifetime,
Erin
