Hi, Barbara! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question. I am so excited that you plan to take advantage of some of the fabulous entertainment dining packages available at the Disneyland Resort! My family and I enjoyed the
Paint the Night Dining Package at Carthay Circle Restaurant in April and it was beyond phenomenal.
You are correct that dining reservations are available 60 days in advance, and typically
entertainment schedules aren’t released until about 45 days in advance. You can rest assured, though, that the times available for you to book your dining reservations will coincide with the appropriate show times. Meaning that the system won’t allow you to make a dining package reservation that will conflict with the start of the show or parade. Also, if Fantasmic! or a parade isn’t performing on a particular date, then dining package reservations won’t be available on that day.
For
Fantasmic! Dining Packages, there are often two shows per night and the timing of your dining reservation will determine which show you see. Typically, reservations before 6:30 p.m. will provide a viewing section voucher for the first show and later reservations will receive vouchers for the second show. When you make your reservations online, it should tell you which show you are reserving once you get to the confirmation screen. Also, keep in mind that you can adjust your dining reservations, based on availability, once the entertainment schedule is populated with times for your travel dates.
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by again!
