I am trying to plan our first Disney Cruise trip. Anyone has any tips they would like to share and can I do a payment plan?

Ahoy there Simone and thank you for visiting us at planDisney as you prepare for your first Disney Cruise! I can't wait for you to step aboard the Disney Dream and experience everything that's in store when you set sail with Captains Mickey and Minnie!

I have plenty of tips that I would like to share with you and your sailing crew. My first recommendation is to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Prior to sailing, you can utilize it to manage your reservation, explore and book activities, and even countdown to the big day. While onboard it will be your handy guide to what is happening around the ship and offers a chat feature so that you can stay in touch with your shipmates. I love to use the app to "favorite" the activities in the day that catch my eye, and the app will even notify me when an activity that I have set as a favorite is about to begin!

Speaking of activities on board, another tip I have for first-time cruisers is to try a little bit of everything! You will never know when an entertainment offering will become a must-do for your crew. Some activities are even offered more than once and you may find that an activity just can't be missed. You will find that there is something for everyone on a Disney Cruise!

Simone, if you are a fan of fine dining, might I suggest a brunch or dinner reservation at the adult-exclusive restaurant, Palo? The ambiance is enchanting, the menu mouth-watering, and the service is top-notch. My favorite dish at brunch is the lasagna. If you visit for dinner, leave room for dessert because the soufflé is not to be missed! As a first-time cruiser, you will be eligible to make a reservation at Palo 75 days in advance of your sailing, once you have paid your cruise fare in full.

Regarding paying for your Disney Cruise, there is not a payment plan offered to Guests. However, after paying for your initial cruise deposit and securing your reservation, you may pay your remaining balance over time at your discretion. Just be sure to pay your balance by the final payment deadline and you will be all set to sail!

Have a fantastic time on your first Disney Cruise and please come back to planDisney if we can be of any more service to you. I'd love to help

    Bon Voyage,
