I am trying to plan a family vacation for my family for June of 2012. My son will 6 yrs old and my daughter 2 1/2 yrs old by then. Not sure how I should start planning so I can make it a great experience for them.

    Hi Dania:

There is a lot to do at Walt Disney World.  The good news is that aside from the Moms Panel, there are some great Disney vacation planning tools available right on Walt Disney World's website.

My first piece of advice is to order the Disney Vacation Planning DVD, which will give you an overview of Disney World's four amazing theme parks, two incredible water parks and more than 20 magnificent Disney Resort hotels, as well as give you family vacation planning tips and details about special events in Disney Parks in Florida.

I would also visit Walt Disney World's website to browse getaways and vacation packages and take advantage of Disney's vacation planning page. Also browse through Disney World's Frequently Asked Questions to get answers to questions that many guests have on their minds.

Another popular site, allears.net, which is not an official Disney website, also has some great planning tools. Just use the search function on the website to search for "planning."

Although a lot of information to take in, the sooner you start planning the better, especially since you can start making Advance Dining Reservations 180-days in advance. It's likely that after a few minutes browsing these websites, you'll find that planning a Disney vacation is a lot more fun than intimidating.

Also, keep monitoring the Moms Panel and keep asking questions.

    Enjoy your vacation.
