Trying to plan a family vacation for dec 2021. There will be 7 adults, 2 children ages 13 and 2. Where would you recommend we stay? Trying to stay budget friendly but also confortable. Should we do one big room or 3 connection rooms?

    Hi Nicole,

How fun that you're planning a visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" with so many loved ones! You and all of your fellow Mouseketeers are going to LOVE visiting during the holiday season! You'll head back home with a heart full of wonderful memories and holiday joy!

I'm happy to let you know that you have several options as far as where to stay. While yes, for what will likely be the most cost-effective route, you may certainly book three separate rooms at any Disney Resort hotel, but you could also look into two Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's All-Star Music Resort or two Wilderness Cabins at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. They'll provide you with a place to prepare some food as well as a living room to stretch out and relax a bit. Of course, for the ultimate home away from home experience, I'd recommend a 2 Bedroom Villa at one of the Deluxe Villas. Not only will they have a full kitchen and living room, but you'll also have a washer and dryer in your room as well as a patio or balcony. There are several 2 Bedroom Deluxe Villas that sleep nine, including the Treehouse Villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, which actually has three separate bedrooms and offers a very unique and magical experience!

Wherever you decide to stay, I'd recommend linking together with all of your fellow travelers via the Family & Friends list within your My Disney Experience account. That way, you'll not only be able to add each other to your Disney Resort hotel reservation, but you'll also be able to make dining reservations and FastPass+ selections together.

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole! Please come back and see us again if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you and all of your Mouseketeers have a truly magical vacation together!
