I am trying to plan a family vacation with about 15 adults and about 7 children all under the age of 7. We are planning to take the trip around christmas of 2023. I am needing help on planning! Is there someone who can help us?

Hi Rebecca, and welcome to planDisney!

Having a large group of family members travel together is always special when it comes to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I can only imagine the memories you will create! Planning this far in advance is an excellent idea to have time to budget and ensure everyone has a voice regarding what they want to experience during that time.

When planning any vacation, I first recommend agreeing upon the specific dates you plan to travel in December 2023. Next, determine where everyone would like to enjoy their stay and how many rooms you will need; it will be good to have at least three options in case the resorts you desire are booked, but this far in advance, you may not have any issues on that front. Once that is decided, you can call Guest Relations at (407)939-1289 and book a room-only reservation 499 days before your proposed arrival to lock down the resort and dates. Once the packages for that timeframe are released, you can upgrade your resort stays to packages at that time.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app; it is a good idea for every adult to have their own account. You will be planning as a group so be sure to add the names and information of each family member to your Family and Friends list so that one person can make plans for the group, if that is what you want.

At that point, the planning phase begins, and planDisney will be here to walk you through the entire planning process.

    Have a magical day!
