Hello Kasey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.
Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to travel with young kids and you are considering two great weeks to visit.
Arriving on March 31, just after spring break, you will probably experience awesome weather, moderate crowds and Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
On the other hand, September is a hot and humid season, with the probability of hurricanes. Still, this is probably the lowest season at Walt Disney World and you can expect really low crowds. Also, at this time you can expect some of the best special offers of the year.
My family´s first Walt Disney World vacation was during the month of September and with the travel insurance, all my worries were gone. We had a perfect vacation and really enjoyed Mickey´s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Either week will be an awesome family experience.
Remember that Advance Dining Reservations can be made with up to 180 days before your vacation.
Services like
PhotoPass + can add lots of magic to your vacation, especially when used with selected
Disney Character Meals.
If planning on Character and
Signature Restaurants, I suggest considering a
Disney Dining Plan - especially the Deluxe Plan.
By planning a year ahead you will be able to design a wonderful vacation for your family.
Glad to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
