    We are trying to plan a family trip to WDW for my Parents 50th Anniversary. When is the park decorated for the Holidays? Can we do anything special for them? We'd like to come in Nov or else early Dec.

    What an amazing thing for you to do for your parents' 50th anniversary. I know this will be the trip of a lifetime and that you will make amazing family memories you will all remember forever. I'm so excited for you!

    Shortly after Halloween, holiday decorating begins at Walt Disney World. There is nothing quite like seeing the Parks and Resorts all dressed up in holiday cheer. It is a wonderful sight to behold! Although it is difficult to pinpoint exactly when preparations will be complete, I would suggest you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the official announcement of dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party since Christmas decorations will most likely be completely up by then. Just to give you an idea of what date that might be, in 2015 it was November 8. Chances are, it will somewhere around that date for 2016. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will be able to see how enchanting the holidays are at Walt Disney World in person!

    As far as your celebration goes, take a look at the Customize Your Celebration page on the Walt Disney World website. It has some great ideas of how to make your visit memorable. Don't forget to stop by Guest Services when you arrive to get your mom and dad each a personalized Anniversary Celebration button. It is Disney's way of announcing to everyone that it is their special day.
