Trying to plan some EPCOT & Hollywood Studios rope drops-How early does the Skyliner start each morning? If early park entry is 8:30am, will the Skyliner be open before 7:30am? Will the Skyliner start running at different times from the Disney buses?

Hey there, Lindsay, and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

Lindsay, complimentary resort transportation begins 45 minutes before the Disney Theme Parks open to Guests. In response to your example, if the early park entry time is 8:30 a.m. EST, the Skyliner will officially begin running at 7:45 a.m. EST. But you never know when a little Disney Magic will grace your trip — sometimes the transportation starts up a little before the posted start time. So I always recommend heading over to the Skyliner station with plenty of time to spare, just in case things start moving earlier than expected. Additionally, you can find the Skyliner operating hours in the My Disney Experience mobile app or posted near the Skyliner station. I like to walk over to the Skyliner station the night before to map out the quickest route from my hotel room and confirm the operating hours. You can never be too sure!

If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel with Skyliner transportation access, Disney Bus Transportation is not available to Disney’s Hollywood Studios or EPCOT while the Skyliner is in operation. In the event that the Skyliner stops running for any reason, Bus Transportation to these Theme Parks will be available from your resort.

I hope this helps, Lindsay! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
