Hi Patricia!
I can see why you would like to visit Walt Disney World Resort between Christmas and New Year's Day. The theme parks and resorts are decorated so beautifully. Even though you're in central Florida, you feel like you are in some kind of magical winter wonderland.
The week you are planning to visit is a very popular one among Guests. As a result, it is possible that all the three-bedroom or grand villas are booked already. Don't despair! There are plenty of great options for a large family. Consider adjoining rooms that would be equivalent to a three-bedroom villa. For instance, let's imagine you want to stay at
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. (That is my favorite resort and it is especially magical during the winter holidays. The enormous Christmas tree in the main lobby is simply jaw-dropping.) If you reserve a two-bedroom villa and a nearby studio, you'll have all the comforts of home at your disposal and adequate space for 12 to sleep. It's a great option.
You may have more luck if you reserve three standard rooms at one of the larger Walt Disney World Resort hotels. For instance, select three rooms in Alligator Bayou at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside if you're looking to enjoy some southern charm and hospitality in December.
There are many options you could consider for your upcoming trip, Patricia. It would probably save you time to call (407) 560-CHAT, or (407) 560-2428, to speak to a Cast Member who can see what rooms are still available for that week. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find the perfect accommodations for your family.
Sending pixie dust and best wishes,
Jill
