When it comes to planning a vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth - the main things you need are your
theme park tickets with a
theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit and a hotel stay. You can already purchase your theme park tickets at any point and theme park reservations are currently available through mid-March as of the time that I'm answering your question.
Though, as you noted, the
Disneyland Resort hotel reservation window is currently only available through the end of 2026. While there hasn't been any official announcements yet as to when the 2027 booking window will open, from what I've seen in the last couple of years, it should like open up in the next month or two.
In previous years, the Disneyland Resort hotel reservations have often opened for the following year somewhere around late summer time. Therefore I would anticipate seeing them open up by late August or early September. However, you'll want to keep an eye on the booking calendar to see when it actually opens up. My preferred way of doing this is the "Build Your Vacation" toolbar on the
Disneyland Resort homepage. There is a date selector that is part of the bar that you can select and see how far out dates are available for booking. Once 2027 becomes available, those dates will no longer be grayed out.
