Hello! I am trying to plan a Disney trip for my husband and I. This will be our first Disney trip and we want to include all the bells and whistles. I am looking for any recommendations on package deals, resorts, etc. Many thanks in advance! :)

Hi there DeAnna, welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited you stopped by with your question. Planning your very first Walt Disney World Resort vacation is such a magical adventure! Whether you're dreaming of a romantic getaway with a touch of Disney magic or looking to explore everything the resort has to offer, I’d be delighted to help you get started with recommendations for vacation packages, resorts, and more. Let’s make this trip unforgettable!

Booking a Walt Disney World vacation package is one of the most convenient and magical ways to plan your trip. Vacation packages typically include your resort hotel stay, theme park tickets, and the option to add on extras like a Disney dining plan. This bundled approach not only simplifies your planning but also helps ensure everything is connected through your My Disney Experience account, making your vacation smooth from start to finish.

When it comes to resorts, you’ll find options to match every travel style and budget. If you're looking to treat yourselves, you might consider a stay at one of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts. Disney’s Grand Floridian offers timeless elegance, luxurious accommodations, and fine dining experiences, not to mention an incredible view of Magic Kingdom’s fireworks right from the resort. Another favorite among couples is Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, where you can enjoy the charm of a turn of the century Atlantic City boardwalk, with lively entertainment and convenient access to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Now, let’s talk about the extras, this is where the “bells and whistles” really come in! You might consider adding a Disney Dining Plan to your package. It allows you to prepay for meals, making dining around the parks and resorts even more enjoyable. For an extra bit of pixie dust, you can book special experiences like a private fireworks cruise, a romantic dinner at Victoria & Albert’s, or a dessert party with reserved viewing of the nighttime spectaculars.

And don’t forget about Memory Maker! It gives you unlimited digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos, whether they’re captured on rides, at iconic photo spots, or during character encounters.

The best way to explore all your options is through the Build Your Vacation Tool Walt Disney World website, where you can browse resort availability, compare vacation packages, and even take advantage of special offers for select dates. Once your trip is booked, everything can be linked through the My Disney Experience app, where you’ll be able to manage your plans, make dining reservations, and book Lightning Lane Passes to select attractions.

I hope this helps you begin planning the ultimate first visit to Walt Disney World, filled with magic and unforgettable memories! Thank you again for stopping by planDisney! If more questions pop up along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out again. Wishing you and your husband a magical adventure from start to finish, see ya real soon!
