Ahoy, Amy!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Planning for an upcoming Disney Cruise is one of my favorite things to do! Haha! I'm honored to have the opportunity to help you plan for yours. Before you know it, your cruise will be here and you'll be setting sail to exciting ports of call!
I'm not sure if there will be a second adult traveling with you, but I'm happy to give you my opinions on stateroom options for both five and six Guests! The Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah sleeps up to five Guests, so if you'll be cruising with your buccaneers solo, that might be a perfect choice for you! If there will be six sailing in your party, there are a couple different options! Both the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic have Concierge 2-Bedroom Suites with Verandah as well as Concierge Royal Suites with Verandah that sleep up to seven Guests! Staying as Concierge-level Guests will give you additional amenities and a Concierge Team just steps away making sure your family has everything they need!
Another option that you've mentioned is booking two
connecting staterooms! We've sailed with my parents in two connecting staterooms and loved it. Most staterooms aboard Disney Cruise Line have a split bath design, which means there is one bathroom with a tub/shower/sink and another with a sink/toilet. If you have connecting staterooms, you get double the bathroom space! Also, if you choose connecting staterooms with verandahs, you can ask your Stateroom Host/Hostess to fold the partition in-between the verandahs to create one extra-long verandah your two staterooms can share! Just thinking of an extra-long verandah makes me daydream of my happy place!
No matter which option you choose, your pirate crew will love every moment in their home away from home. If you can think of any other questions, please visit us again!
