We are trying to plan our Disney Cruise activities and had a couple of quick questions. If we (adults/parents) want to participate in some of the Port Adventures, is it possible to leave our child (3 years old) on-board with the Disney Oceaneer Club during

    Welcome Aboard, Rajeev!

I'm happy to hear you're planning some fun Port Adventures for the adults in your sailing party, and also glad you're planning to take advantage of the incredible Youth Clubs on the ship! The Oceaneer Club is an amazing space, with attentive Youth Counselors that keep the kids entertained and engaged while in their care. My kids can't get enough of the Youth Clubs when we sail with Disney - they can't wait to see what fun activities they have planned each day!

You are more than welcome to leave your child in the care of the Youth Counselors while you head off the ship for a Port Adventure. I'd advise you to drop him/her off about 15 minutes before the scheduled meeting time for your adventure. Make sure to let the Oceaneer Club workers know that you'll be leaving the ship, and your expected time to arrive back.

If you have any questions or concerns about leaving your child in the club, I encourage you to speak with the Youth Counselors on your first afternoon onboard, during Open House. They'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have, and to assure you that he/she will be well taken care of while in their care!

I hope this helps with your planning! Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions before you set sail. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
