Hey there, hi there, Rebekah! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.
When my daughter was a toddler, making sure she had snacks and munchies at the parks was on the tippy top of my Disney-planning to-do list. No one needs a hangry toddler on a magical Walt Disney World day, am I right? It sounds like you've already been in touch with the
Special Diets Team, so your planning is off to a practically perfect start! Now, let's make sure your little one never gets rumbly in the tumbly.
The "Snacks with Character" are pre-packaged, allergy-friendly goodies that can be found throughout the theme parks and Disney Resort Hotels. My family and I don't have significant food allergies, but we love the yummy sweet and savory options! Just keep your eyes peeled for your favorite Disney characters, such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, and the "Snacks with Character" label on the bags at the gift shops, snack kiosks and Quick-Service Dining locations.
In Magic Kingdom, I have found "Snacks with Character" at the
Main Street Confectionery and
Liberty Square Market, where you can also find fresh fruit and chilled pickles (yum!). In EPCOT, I've found the allergy-friendly snacks at
Creations Shop and
Sunshine Seasons. My family and I also love the hummus and veggies at the snack cart near The Land Pavilion! At Hollywood Studios, I've found the pre-packaged treats, as well as fresh fruit and pickles, at
Anaheim Produce, and I have seen them in baskets at
The Trolley Car Cafe and the other Starbucks locations, such as
Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom. While in Animal Kingdom, also check for the "Snacks with Character" at
Riverside Depot or the adjacent gift shops. And be sure to stop by my favorite snack cart in all of Walt Disney World:
Harambe Fruit Market. I can't pass it without getting some fresh-cut watermelon and a delicious grilled corn on the cob (when it is available). Mmmmm.
While the "Snacks with Character" are the perfect on-the-go, allergy-friendly snacks, don't forget about all the naturally allergy-friendly snacks throughout Disney World, such as popcorn, frozen lemonade, and the classic pineapple DOLE Whip ... Yummy snackies for Mouseketeers of all ages!
I hope this helps, Rebekah, and I am wishing you and your little one a magical and memorable visit, full of food and fun! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
See ya real soon,
Mandy
