In trying to plan out which days for each park, ADR, etc. I am wondering why each day for WDW hours is being released at the 180 mark? I thought each month was published at a time or a week at a time. It's making it difficult to finalize plans.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa!

What a coincidence that I'm here to answer your question today, because we're actually going to be at Walt Disney World Resort around the same time! It's my favorite time of year to visit because I love getting that first taste of the holiday season on Main Street U.S.A., which will be decorated for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Aside from the fact that we like to travel at the same time of year, it sounds like we have a lot in common because I also like to have all my plans in motion early, certainly by the day it comes time to make my advanced dining reservations. For that reason, I definitely understand that it can sometimes be tricky to make your plans when the theme park hours haven't been released for your travel dates yet. I'm happy to tell you that I don't think we'll be waiting too much longer to find out the hours for the week you'll be there. Right now, when I look at the calendar I can see theme park hours all the way through the first week of November, so I think if you were to check back in a week or so, you would see them for the week of your vacation.

With your 180 day booking window for dining reservations opening up this week, I recommend that you go ahead and make your reservations, but be open-minded and flexible. If there is something you absolutely must do, like breakfast at The Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and his friends, make that reservation and then plan a day at Magic Kingdom Park around that. If you want to adjust your plans when the theme park hours come out, you're welcome to do that as well! I change my plans pretty frequently in the days and weeks leading up to my vacation when I hear about new special events or fun limited-time experiences that pop up, and the My Disney Experience app makes making those changes super quick and simple.

I hope this answers your questions, Melissa, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
