Hey there, Dorene!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, where we always welcome the chance to share our own suggestions from our vacation travels to Disney destinations.
It's so cool to hear you're planning your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. One note to keep in mind when you're planning to purchase your theme park tickets is that ticket pricing is date-based. Ticket prices can vary depending on the month, week, and day that you choose to visit the theme parks.
The best way to get an idea for ticket prices is to
check out the theme park tickets overview and take a look at the Standard Theme Park Tickets. You'll be prompted to select the number of days you want to visit the theme parks, and then select your ticket type such as "1 Park per Day." You'll then be prompted to choose the first day of your visit, and you'll see an interactive calendar to select your date. You'll notice on the calendar that the ticket prices can vary depending on the date. After you select the first day of your visit, you'll be prompted to select the number of tickets by age (ages 10+ or ages 3-9). When you're finished selecting the number of tickets you'll need, you'll see price for your ticket selections.
If you are a Florida resident, and
sign in to your My Disney Experience account, you should notice the Florida Resident Ticket options where Florida residents can save on 3-day and 4-day tickets. Florida residents will need to provide proof of a Florida residential address such as a valid Florida driver's license with a Florida address, a valid Florida state-issues ID, or a valid Florida-based military ID. You can check out the
complete details and requirements for Florida proof of residency online.
When you do purchase your theme park tickets, be sure to make your theme park reservations through the
Disney Park Pass system.
