Trying to plan a day at the Park for my “Granddaughters of the Heart”, the girls have never been to Disneyland. I have heard that we will need to reserve dates for entry into the park? How is that going to work? I am hoping for July/August 2021.

I’m so excited for you and your “Granddaughters of the Heart” to experience the magic of “The Happiest Place on Earth!” together. Seeing the parks through the eyes of a 1st timer is very special!

I’m glad you’re thinking ahead to your future visit! But, as I’m sure you’re aware the Disneyland Resort has not yet announced an opening date for the theme parks. To stay up to date on the latest announcements related to the Disneyland Resort, make sure to check the Disney Parks Blog on a regular basis. You’ll find breaking news there first!

I can speculate that when the parks do reopen they will utilize a theme park reservation system to manage attendance. If it is similar to the Disney Park Pass system at Walt Disney World Resort then it will require all guests to obtain an advance reservation for park entry. More details about the Disneyland Resort reservation system will be available closer to theme park reopening.

I hope you are able to take your magical vacation this summer. We’re all crossing our fingers that that magic of the Disneyland Resort will return soon!
