Trying to plan a cruise for next year but want to know when the cruise lines will be decorated for Christmas and if they have Christmas parties like the park does?

    Hi Michelle,

There is nothing like Disney Cruise Line in December.  If you can, go during Christmas week.  Christmas Day onboard is spectacular!

The ships are beautifully decorated for Christmas right after the Thanksgiving holiday.  You'll love the huge Christmas tree in the ships main atrium, and on the first night of every sailing during the month of December, you can attend the lighting of the Christmas tree party!

Characters will be dressed in their holiday attire and will be available for family portraits. You'll hear carolling and holiday music, and on Christmas morning you'll be able to see Mrs. Claus reading by the tree while Santa Goofy hands out surprises! Holiday activities such as pool parties and arts and crafts are added to the festivities as well.

Of course, these are only a few of the special holiday themed events that are scheduled. There are surprises popping up all the time! Have a wonderful sailing!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
