Hi, Heidi! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
I am so excited that you will be visiting the
Disneyland Resort during the Holidays! So many festive decorations and all sorts of holiday cheer await you. As far as temperatures in December, it can range a bit, but for the most part, expect temperatures mostly in the 60s and a few low 70s. However, don't be too surprised if you see a few days in the 80s as it has happened in the past! While planning for trip in November one year, I purchased all sorts of cute outfits for my daughter that included pants and sweaters and sweatshirts, but by the time we were packing, the weather forecast predicted temperatures so warm that we packed shorts and t-shirts instead!
Keep an eye on the extended forecast as your dates approach, but my suggestion would be to plan on layering while you are there. Sweatshirts or jackets will be a necessity in the mornings and evenings, but in the afternoons, it's possible that you will want to be in short sleeves. So pack a variety of short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts and comfy pants for the kiddos and you will be fine. Having a warm blanket for the baby in the stroller is also a good idea.
If you are staying at a
Disneyland Resort Hotel, keep in mind that all the pools are heated, so swimming may be a possibility even in December. You might have to play that by ear a bit to see how comfortable you all are with the temperatures, but I would pack swimsuits just in case.
I hope this helps! Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have about your upcoming trip!
