Hi Jerry! Welcome to planDisney!
Wow! What an exciting time in your life! Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! Planning for a wedding is one thing, but planning for a wedding and bachelorette party at the same time sounds like a tall order! I have a feeling you are up for the task though! Celebrating with a group of friends and family at the
Walt Disney World Resort sounds like the perfect idea!
Depending on your budget and what type of room accommodations you are considering, you will have plenty of choices when it comes to where you want to stay. If you want everyone to stay in the same room, I would highly consider looking into the
two or three-bedroom deluxe villas located at most Disney Vacation Club properties! You can even book these villas directly through the Walt Disney World website! Most two-bedroom villas sleep up to 9 Guests while the three-bedroom grand villas will sleep up to 12 Guests. I personally really enjoy staying at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. The rooms are the most spacious on property and come equipped with full kitchens. The theming of this resort instantly transports you to vacation mode, especially when you are hanging around the main pool area. You also have boat access to Disney Springs from here, which is great if you plan to visit any of the bars or restaurants over there.
Although Old Key West Resort is budget-friendly compared to other Deluxe Disney Resorts, there are some other options that may be more cost-effective.
Disney Value Resort Hotels and
Moderate Resort Hotels are wonderfully themed resorts that could provide additional space if desired. At these hotels, you'll need to split up the group into multiple rooms. Most of these types of rooms hold up to four Guests. If you plan to spend most of your time at the parks, then you should be fine with this as your option. You can also put in a request for the rooms to be close by, although these requests are not guaranteed. To get up-to-date pricing on any of these resorts, I suggest heading over to the Walt Disney World website to enter your travel dates. Hotels that have availability will be shown with the cost per night.
For theme park tickets you will have a few options for how to purchase them. If you book the entire stay as a vacation package, you can include your tickets in the total cost. Otherwise, each Guest can purchase their park tickets separately. Once purchased, you can link each Guest to your
Family & Friends list on your
My Disney Experience account to help keep all of your plans in one spot. Park tickets also vary depending on the date you travel and how many park days you want to have.
Jerry, I hope this information helps you plan the most fantastic bachelorette trip ever! Walt Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate any special occasion!
Happy planning!
