I am trying to plan an affordable trip to Disney World next summer. It will be 3 adults and 4 kids and a baby. I really would like to do Art of Aninmation. What are some great place to research any books? I have planned a trip before, but not this large.

Greetings Shawnda.  I am so excited to hear that you are planning to visit Walt Disney World in 2013.

You are on the right track, as advanced planning is the key the key to successful Disney vacations.  By thoroughly researching every angle, you will be able to discover the budgeting techniques and tips that will work best for your family.  Before you know it, you'll be hooked on Disney trip-planning like all of us Moms here on the panel! :)

I would recommend beginning your research right here at The Moms Panel by searching our database of guest questions.  Our Moms are really "know it alls" when it comes to planning a magical vacation...especially on a budget!

Next, keep your eyes peeled to the official Disney World Special Offers page, as this is where promotions and deals are posted.

There are also a few really informative "unofficial" Disney sites that contain tons of information pertaining to Walt Disney World vacations.  My favorites are AllEars.net, DisneyFoodBlog.com, and WDWInfo.com.

As far as guidebooks go, there are so many to choose from, but I am partial to Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 2012, The Unofficial Guide to WDW, and my favorite, Beyond the Attractions: A Guide to WDW with Toddlers.  These are all available on Amazon.com.

Please be sure to drop me a line if you think of any additional questions during the planning stages of this magical adventure!

    Happy Vacation Planning,

    Amanda F.
