Hi Moms! Trying to plan way in advance for a WDW vacation. Do the Disney Gift Cards expire or lose value after a certain amount of time? I thought about buying them each month as my savings plan for a vacation package. Thank you!

Hello Jennifer, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love planning ways to save for an upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. I have actually used purchasing Disney Gift Cards in advance as a way to accomplish that goal. I am pleased to tell you that Disney Gift Cards will never expire and you will never be charged a fee to keep a remaining balance on a gift card.

You can use a Disney Gift Card for all your shopping and dining needs, anywhere in the Walt Disney World Resort where debit or credit cards are accepted. You can also redeem them at the Disney Store or Shop Disney Parks online or the app. I hope that helps with your vacation budget planning. If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us.

    See ya real soon,
