I am trying to plan our ADR's for Feb, with 4 and 5 yr old boys. Hollywood and Vine and Chef Mickey's. Is breakfast best (business, time with characters, etc)? Also, long does it take to travel the monorail? Can we take it from Epcot to the Contemporary?

    Hi Sarah,

Character Dining is available at Hollywood & Vine for Breakfast & Lunch whilst at Chef Mickey's, it is available for  Breakfast and Dinner.

I really do not think it matters which meal you make a dining reservation for as my family have always had plenty of time and photograph/autograph opportunities with the Disney characters no matter what time of day we have dined.

The Walt Disney World Monorail System has three separate beams that travel throughout Walt Disney World Resort. The first makes the following stops:-

    • Magic Kingdom theme park
    • Disney's Contemporary Resort
    • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    • Disney's Polynesian Resort
    • Transportation and Ticket Center

If you were to do an entire loop, it would take approximately 30 minutes.

Additionally, there are express round-trip services to Epcot theme park and Magic Kingdom theme park that originate from the Transportation and Ticket Center. Both of these journeys will take approximately 20 minutes.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
