Hiya Bonnie,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season. I always feel exceptionally cheerful when the snow starts to fall on Main Street, U.S.A. Now let’s see if we can get you to the right place for making payments toward your vacation or at least figure out why you may be unable to at this time.
Before you make a payment online towards your
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, your package needs to be linked to your
My Disney Experience account. If your vacation package is connected, then these next few steps should help you process your payment.
1. First, log in to My Disney Experience and go to “My Plans.”
2. Under “My Plans,” you should see your Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel information for December (i.e., the confirmation number and remaining balance).
3. To the right of your resort hotel information, there will be a blue button that says “Make Payment.”
4. Click the button and follow the on-screen prompts to process a payment.
If you do not see the blue button to make a payment, there are three possible reasons not.
Room-Only Reservation
If you booked a room-only reservation (separate from your Theme Park tickets), you would be unable to make payments online. The final balance for a room-only reservation is due at the time of check-in and is not eligible to be paid over time.
Travel AgentIf you booked your Vacation Package using a third-party travel agency, you would not have the option to make a payment through My Disney Experience. To make payments towards a Walt Disney World Vacation Package made by a travel agent, you will need to reach out to the travel agency to arrange payment.
Technical DifficultiesIf you did book a Walt Disney World Vacation Package and it wasn’t made through a travel agency, you might just be experiencing some technical mishaps. In this case, I would recommend calling a Cast Member at (407)-939-4357 for additional assistance and help to submit a payment. Just a little quick tip, to minimize your wait, try calling early in the morning or later in the evening. The call volumes have been higher than normal recently to speak to a Cast Member, so timing is critical.
If there is anything else we can help you with, please come back and see us! I’d love to talk about
Holiday After Hours Events with you.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
