Hi Tracie,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am delighted to see that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! And kudos to you for taking the lead on planning for your group.
Your strategy is great. Make
Disney Park Pass system reservations for the first group. And then go back and make park pass reservations for the remaining folks that you were not able to reserve in the first group. When those park pass reservations appear in your
My Disney Experience account, you should be able to see everyone's park pass reservations as long as everyone is listed or linked in your
My Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience.
Remember to keep an eye on the
theme park reservation availability calendar as you continue to make plans. If you decide to switch parks on a particular day, you will need to cancel park pass reservations and make new ones. Always check that availability calendar before cancelling a park pass reservation and trying to make a new one. And remember to watch the
operational updates since policies and procedures could change.
Given the size of your group, I highly recommend that you make advanced dining reservations as soon as your
dining reservation window opens. Since you are traveling with a larger party, you may have to split your party into smaller groups to make those dining reservations. When I plan for a large group, I manage the dining reservations with different folks in our party. To make multiple dining reservations in the same time window (i.e. within 15 minutes of each other), I will be the lead on one reservation and other members of my party will be the lead on the other reservations, and then we split the guests between those reservations. When we arrive at the restaurant, we ask the Cast Members if they can seat us together. Although not guaranteed, they try to work some magic!
Tracie, I am so excited for your trip! Sending you a little extra pixie dust for patience as you plan for the group. We are ready to welcome you for
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
