We are trying Palo for the 1st time, I was only able to get a reservation for 6PM on the 1st night. I'm worried that we'll miss the sail party and our 1st onboard dining w/ the kids (they're new to cruising) Are there additional reservations when we board?

    Hi Jenni,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I will be completely honest with you - if it were me, I would probably reconsider the Palo reservation.  As wonderful as the meal will be - embarkation day is always a busy one, not the having-the-time-of-my-life-on-vacation busy but rather the travel day hectic and sometimes stressful busy.  You wouldn't miss the Sail Away Celebration, but you may be a bit rushed to get dressed and to dinner.  I typically feel so wiped out at dinner that first evening, I don't fully enjoy the meal and ambiance.

I would check with Guest Services once you are onboard, but I would check back periodically through reservations prior to your cruise - another dining time may open up.  Another great alternative is the Palo Champagne Brunch - I love this opportunity to experience Palo in the daylight hours (when you can fully appreciate the view).

    Good luck!
