MagicBand+ on Friends; Main Street; pairing

    I am trying to order Magic+ bands through our resort reservation. We have 3 families linked in the reservation. It looks like the only way to do that for just my family is to decline bands for the other families? Will they still be able to get them?

     Welcome to planDisney, Lindsey. I'm so glad you stopped by! It sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a big group. You're sure to have BIG fun!

     I once planned a Disney vacation with my extended family of 14, and while we had the very best time, it did create some planning challenges on my end. Making magic for that many people is no easy feat! One of those challenges was making sure everyone got the MagicBand they wanted. I'm not sure if you booked and now manage each family's reservations, but if you decline MagicBands for the other families while placing your own order, it's likely that they won't be able to order MagicBands once you've declined their pre-arrival offer. When I was planning our big family Disney vacation, I took everyone's MagicBand preference and placed the order for everyone all at once. It wasn't ideal to order 14 at one time, but everyone got the MagicBand that they wanted for our stay! If you're experiencing any difficulty, I encourage you to call the My Disney Experience and MagicBand line. A friendly Cast Member there will be happy to assist you!

     My best Disney advice for big groups is to purchase Memory Maker. With this Disney PhotoPass product, you can download and share the vacation photos of up to 25 members of your Family & Friends list! That means everyone can get in on the shot!
