I am trying to manage 3 magic bands plus. I have mine on the app but my 2 sons are not showing up. It says they are already claimed. I did theirs first then mine. What can I do to see theirs on the app?

    Hi Jason, welcome to planDisney!

MagicBands are the convenient wrist accessory that let you tap into Walt Disney World Resort magic at theme park entry, with Disney PhotoPass photographers, for Lightning Lane reservations, and more. MagicBands get linked to an individual's My Disney Experience account or account profile and are nontransferable once linked. Newer MagicBand+ designs must also be paired to a mobile device and fully charged before use.

Before we take a look at the MagicBands visible in your account, Jason, let's take a look at your Family & Friends list. Anyone on your Family & Friends list that appears with the words "Profile managed by me" does not have their own My Disney Experience account. All of their vacation entitlements and plans are managed by you, including their MagicBand(s). Individuals who have their own My Disney Experience accounts and appear on your Family & Friends list manage their own MagicBands, even if you're the one who linked a MagicBand to their account.

Let me tell you about the MagicBands visible in my account, Jason. Online, I can see the MagicBands and admission cards linked to all members of my Family & Friends list. There is an image of each MagicBand along with the option to "Activate/Deactivate" or "Report Lost." In the My Disney Experience mobile app, however, I can only see the MagicBands and admission cards linked to myself and those whose My Disney Experience account profiles I manage (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's homepage > MagicBands and more). The app is where I can pair my daughter's MagicBand+ to my phone, change the Light Up Theme on my son's MagicBand+, and/or adjust the vibration settings for my MagicBand+. Since my husband's MagicBand+ is linked to his My Disney Experience account, he has to manage it from his own app.

Now that we've laid some groundwork, Jason, it sounds like you've successfully linked your sons' MagicBands in My Disney Experience. You won't see them on your My Disney Experience mobile app unless you manage their profiles, but you can confirm they've been properly linked on the My MagicBands and Cards page of your account. Rest assured that any additional vacation entitlements you link to their accounts (tickets, resort reservations, dining reservations, Lightning Lane reservations, etc.) will automagically connect to their linked MagicBands for all future trips.

If my assumptions are incorrect, Jason, please reach out to me directly with some clarifying information. I want to make sure the three of you have no trouble tapping into Disney magic together.

    Plan magic; planDisney.
