Am trying to locate my family on the legacy wall can you help

Hi there, friend. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question about Leave A Legacy at EPCOT.

I absolutely love the fact that this program, which ran from 1999 to June 2007, offered Guests the opportunity to have their pictures taken and etched onto steel tiles, which were then mounted on panels and displayed at EPCOT - such a great way of capturing a long-lasting memory as well as leaving a little piece of you, forever, at Walt Disney World!

My family had friends from New Jersey, U.S.A. who are sadly no longer with us and we always make a point of finding their Leave A Legacy tile each and every time we visit.

There is a Leave a Legacy Tile Finder Search Feature available via the US version of the Walt Disney World website but, unfortunately, it is not possible for us to access this, from here in the UK.

However, when visiting EPCOT, you can use a device to scan a QR code, located at the Leave A Legacy display outside of the main entrance touch points, to utilise the new tile finder search feature.

Although there are instructions to follow on the printed signs located at each end of the Leave a Legacy displays, for some reason, my family always seem to have difficulty in doing this ourselves. Thankfully, the EPCOT Guest Relations Team are also on hand for assistance, if required.

I hope that this has answered your question and will keep my fingers crossed that you're able to locate your family's Leave A Legacy tile when you next visit Walt Disney World.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
