Hi Karyn! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question!
The My Disney Experience app is such a fabulous tool that helps you make the most of your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. But, as with most technology, there are some challenges from time to time! But never fear, Karyn! Your trusty planDisney panelists are here to help!
It looks as though you may be having trouble linking your
theme park ticket purchase in your
My Disney Experience app. So, let's start by locating your tickets, as we will need that to get started. First, I recommend checking the My Disney Experience app to ensure your tickets are not already linked to your account. You can do this by opening up the My Disney Experience app and clicking on the menu on the bottom right corner (the three horizontal stacked lines). From there, click on tickets and passes. If your tickets are linked, you will see them in this section. If not, no worries at all. We can move on to the next option!
Now, your next step will be to locate your purchase confirmation. Whether you purchased your tickets as a part of a vacation package or on their own, you will likely have received a confirmation email with the information needed to get this linked up. To link tickets from a vacation package, pull up the email confirmation, and look for your reservation confirmation number. Once you have that handy, open up the My Disney Experience app and navigate to "Tickets and Passes." Then, click on "Link Tickets & Passes" and "Room with Tickets." Fill in your confirmation number and the last name on your reservation, and you are all set!
If the theme park tickets were purchased on their own, you would also have received a ticket order confirmation email. On the upper right-hand corner of the confirmation, you will see a bar code with a long number underneath - this is your ticket number. Once you have that, you can easily link the tickets in your My Disney Experience app by going to "Tickets and Passes." Then, click on "Link Tickets & Passes" and enter the number under the barcode manually or click on "Scan Code" to scan the bar code from your confirmation. That should do the trick, and you will be all linked up!
If you do not see your confirmation in your email inbox, I would recommend checking your spam folder to make sure it is not stuck there. If not, you can reach out to one of the helpful Cast Members on the
Existing Tickets team, who will be happy to get this cleared up for you. You can reach them at (407) 934-7639.
Karyn, I do hope I have been helpful to you today! If you have any other questions, please feel free to visit us again, as we would love to help out!
Until next time,
Diana
