Welcome to planDisney, Hilary! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. You're definitely on the right track already by getting everything linked up in
My Disney Experience. Let's talk about how it all works so your
Disney Bands are set up and ready to go by the time you arrive at Walt Disney World next month.
First, here's the good news: you don't actually need to link your tickets directly to your Disney Band. Disney Bands don't store information themselves; instead, they act as a kind of key that accesses the tickets and reservations linked to your profile in My Disney Experience.
So as long as both your tickets and your Disney Band are showing up under your profile in My Disney Experience, you're all set. When you tap your Disney Band at a park entrance, a
Lightning Lane, or to redeem your
Disney Dining Plan meals, it pulls all that info straight from your account, no extra steps needed!
It sounds like you've got your tickets all linked, but if you're still having trouble entering your Will Call number to link your tickets to My Disney Experience, double-check that you're entering the correct number. Sometimes the code you need isn't the barcode itself, but a string of numbers near it labeled something like "Will Call Confirmation" or "Ticket ID." If it still doesn't work, don't stress,
just give the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and Tickets line a quick call. A Cast Member can take a look at your confirmation and help get you linked in no time.
Once it's all sorted, your Disney Band will act as your ticket, your room key (if you're staying on-site), your Lightning Lane access, and more. It's like having the ultimate vacation sidekick on your wrist!
I hope this answers your question, Hilary, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
