Hiya Michelle! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you have decided to stop by!
You have picked the best time of the year to plan your holiday! September has historically been a less busy time at the Walt Disney World Resort, although it's been tough to say that in the past year. It seems like every Disney fan has wanted to share in the magic of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! I love this time of year for the Fall décor you will see throughout some of the parks and resorts, along with the celebration of the Halloween season.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is returning this year and will run from August 12th until Halloween night. It will be held on select nights at the Magic Kingdom Park and feature some of the best entertainment that Walt Disney World has to offer. It's truly a magical night!
Michelle, let's get to your question. I'm sorry you are having trouble linking your park tickets to your
My Disney Experience account. Technology can be a pain sometimes. But rest assured, this problem will be resolved and you can move on with the planning process shortly. If you booked your stay directly through the Walt Disney Travel Company website, you should have received an email confirmation with your ticket purchase. There should be a Ticket ID Code near the barcode on the virtual ticket or in your confirmation email. This Disney-specific code is what is needed to link your tickets to your account. If you happened to book through a third party, they may have additional confirmation codes that will not correspond to your My Disney Experience account. Make sure to comb through your emails to find the correct code.
Another potential problem is a simple malfunction with the website or mobile app. I find sometimes switching back and forth between each one will do the trick. So if you are trying to link your tickets using the website, try using the
My Disney Experience App and vice versa. It may just be that good old Stitch was causing some problems on the technical side.
If you are still experiencing these issues, simply
call the Walt Disney World Resort and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist. I've had plenty of issues trying to link tickets and resort accommodations in the past, and they were always extremely helpful in fixing the issue.
I hope you have an amazing time during your holiday, Michelle!
See ya real soon!
