I am trying to link my tickets to the app but I cannot find my ID code in order to link my ticket. I have the confirmation number but I annoy find the ticket ID.

    Hi ya, Emma!

It’s so nice to hear from you and please, welcome to planDisney. Hooray, you’re going to Walt Disney World! You must be so excited to have this visit booked so now the fun part can begin, the planning.

When it comes to planning please keep in mind that you can make dining reservations 60 days in advance of your arrival. And, if you are staying at a Disney Resort, you will also be able to schedule your Lightning Lane reservations 7 days before you arrive. Emma, make sure to make a note of these dates and add them to your calendar. I also like to set an early morning alarm for my dining reservation so that I can snag my “must-dos”. So that's something else you can do closer to your 60 day mark as well.

Now, when it comes to your theme park tickets, let’s see what we can do to get them linked to your My Disney Experience account. If you purchased them as a vacation package, meaning with your resort reservation, then you just need that mentioned confirmation code. You will use that confirmation code and apply it to your My Disney Experience account by selecting “My Plans” as you hover over the "My Disney Experience" heading on the top right hand corner of the online webpage. After you’ve signed in you will select “Resort Hotel” and then click the “Link a Reservation” listed right below. That is where you will input your confirmation number and the last name on the reservation to link all of your vacation package details, including your theme park tickets, to your My Disney Experience account.

Emma, I hope this helps do the trick! If you are still having difficulties linking your tickets, after this please give Walt Disney World a call. A Cast Member there will be more than happy to help with linking your theme park tickets.

Until then, keep planning and if there’s anything else you need, we're all ears!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
